Cowrie Grill, formerly an in-house fine dining restaurant in The Manila Hotel, has been an institution since it opened in 1977. It gave way to the expansion of Café Ilang-Ilang in 2010. In 2013, Cowrie Grill re-launched and opened in Promenade, Greenhills, bringing it closer to its clientele in the northern side of Metro Manila.
